Solaire Culture

Veuve Cliquot

EXHIBITION
Solaire Culture, Veuve Cliquot’s first ever-global travelling exhibition, brought some sunshine to London’s Regent Street for its grand finale, with Broadsword helping to deliver an immersive video and audio experience for visitors.

Created to celebrate and translate 250 years of the brand, guests were transported through Veuve Clicquot’s cultural heritage over two dynamic and immersive floors.

The experience showcased all things Veuve, from spotlighting the iconic yellow label to the importance of creativity.

Solaire Culture is not just a celebration of a brand, but the legacy of Madame Clicquot who took over the champagne house in 1805, becoming one of the world’s first female entrepreneurs who continues to inspire the culture of the brand today including their BOLD programme.

Nine internationally renowned female artists were brought together to feature art inspired by Madame Cliquot, including Yayoi Kusama, Sheila Hicks and Rosie McGuiness.

Weaving together the work of bold artists and the brand’s rich history, 250 years of Veuve Cliquot’s culture was translated into this exhibition.

Broadsword were brought on board by True Staging in a consultative role on this project, as there were several areas that needed our expertise to deliver an immersive video and audio experience for the visitor.

Two of the areas required complex projection setups onto curved walls that True had built for the exhibition. Each of these meant precise measurements were needed in a venue which was still being converted from an empty office into a space fit for the public.

The scope for the projection areas changed frequently, but our team were able to deliver the vision of the designers to delight the client and visitors.
