Event with projections of Tutankhamun on the walls and a blue and gold pyramid in the centre of the room

Tutankhamun Exhibition Saatchi Gallery

Commemorating the centenary from the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s treasures the Saatchi Gallery displayed more than 150 original artefacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb, including 60 on their first journey outside Egypt. Broadsword were selected as the sole live event agency to the Gallery for the exhibition period.
Broadsword take great pride in their diligent approach to ensuring these events were delivered to the highest standard, reflecting the Saatchi’s exemplary image in the public eye.

The promo launch

To start the exhibition tenure we were tasked with producing a VIP drinks reception to celebrate the exhibition launch, where the advantages and benefits of hiring the space for exclusive live event opportunities was showcased.

The exhibition

Overall exhibition provided an iconic backdrop for bespoke morning tours and evening events. Through nine immersive galleries incorporating digital content, contextual material, audio and custom soundscapes, visitors followed Tutankhamun’s passage into everlasting life, discovering how funerary objects were used. Broadsword supported private receptions which were held outside the exhibition’s opening hours to the public.

Saatchi Gallery connection

Providing sole event agency support for this project was an honour and followed on from us previously supporting the Hermes exhibition in 2015, the Rolling Stones exhibition in 2016 and multiple Google Indie Games competition finals.
