We joined micebook for the launch of a new a co-working pilot, a place to drop in, work and meet like-minded event profs. At the end of day our MD and micebook Nineteen’ member, Anna Green, joined agency leaders to share an early outlook for 2023.

Being part of the micebook community gives us the opportunity to network, collaborate and connect with a network of global event profs and we have really enjoyed being involved in many of the initiatives in 2022, such as International Women’s Day, the V Awards and Ventures. As a remote team, the co-working pilot was of particular interest. Working from home works well for us, it is productive and flexible, but alongside this, we regularly book into co-working spaces for inspiration, a change of scenery and to engage with each other in person.

The concept of micebook WRX is based on Work Talks’ Meet and organisers provided a space for anyone from events agencies or in the events industry to drop in, work and meet like-minded event professionals in an inspiring setting. The event was hosted at XCHG spaces, in 22 Bishopsgate, one of the most sustainable buildings in London. It features an impressive active commuter park’ with showers, lockers and 1700 bike spaces and a bike maintenance station for those who are opting to cycle to work. It is complete with plants and greenery, a gym, multiple food spots and London’s highest free viewing point; all designed to foster creativity and relaxation. It was the perfect location to suit the purpose of this initiative and enjoy a productive day at work.

Afterwards agency leaders, including our MD, Anna Green, shared their early outlook for the events industry in 2023 in a content session, followed by networking drinks. It was great to make new connections and catch up with old friends.

We can’t wait for the next one!
